    This job is for our office in Westlake Village, CA. and is not a remote, work from home position.  Compensation is $80,00 - $90,000 annually DOE


    The Reporting & Analytics Manager works closely with executive leadership and staff at all levels to implement new reporting & analytics projects and is also the primary support person for the Reporting & Analytics team.  This manager takes a senior role on tasks and mentoring/managing analysts within the department. In addition to creating custom reports and dashboards for CallSource customers and coworkers, this position is responsible for analyzing reporting system problems, programming fixes to existing reporting & analytics systems, assisting in the development of reporting scope specifications and developing new programs to automate reporting and analytics processes. This role consists of a wide variety of programming tasks, development, testing, maintenance, and implementation, as well as fully participating in new software and system projects assigned to the Reporting & Analytics Department.

    Responsibilities & Skills


    • Supervise analysts performing high level reporting and analysis, primarily using Excel, VBA, and Python SQL
    • Prioritize and delegate requests received by the Reporting and Analytics team
    • Responsible for senior role on departmental tasks, as well as giving direction and mentoring to Data Analysts
    • Lead and provide QC guidelines for the work of the Reporting and Analytics team
    • Work directly with executives, directors, and managers to identify and resolve issues throughout all phases of report development
    • Convert designs and specifications into code
    • Design and code screen layouts, user interfaces, printed outputs and interfaces with other systems
    • Create and run tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications
    • Analyze Python, SQL, and VBA code to find causes of errors and revise programs
    • Analyze performance of programs and reports and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of their manager
    • Analyze data and develop business dashboards for managers, customers and executives
    • Write and maintain appropriately detailed documentation and technical specifications
    • Training and supporting other analysts in all job functions
    • Perform database and system administration
    • Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment and/or systems
    • Consult effectively with others to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements
    • Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested
    • Participate in professional development activities to keep current with data analysis trends and best practices
    • Create and administer training curriculum for Data Analysts as necessary


    • Interpreting user needs and building automation plans to assist users
    • Programmer with extensive experience in SQL, Python, Access, Visual Basic for Applications (emphasis in Excel), reporting and creating dashboards
    • Must fully understand database concepts and be able to generate and format accurate reports, which require the ability to investigate and aggregate data, and analyze resulting information to meet end-user criteria
    • Excellent report writing and presentation skills, ability to work with Excel, SQL, Python, legacy reports and dashboards
    • Implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
    • Coordinate and conduct tests for system improvements and quality check results
    • Ability to communicate with and interpret the operational requirements of end-users
    • Ability to write and maintain technical and non-technical documentation in the use of programs and reports, as well as presenting results as needed
    • Subject matter expert for various proprietary calculations and report template systems
    • Must be a highly motivated self-starter
    • Work with team members to scope, design, test, document, and maintain various types of reporting templates and related systems, as assigned

    Education, Training & Physical Requirements


    • Four to seven years technical and/or analytical progressively responsible work
    • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
    • Knowledge of current technological developments and trends in area of expertise
    • Experience managing a team of analysts is preferred


    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, analytics or related field, or equivalent experience in computer programming and application and systems support required

    Physical Requirements

    • Extensive computer work, sitting, standing, vision, close-up work, speaking on the phone
